My work confronts the profound truth that life, in its entirety, is an inherent risk. Playing safe and choosing inaction is merely the fastest route to regret. Years from now, disappointment will stem not from the chances we took, but the opportunities we let slip away.

Therefore, the only true path is to “throw off the bowlines” and sail beyond the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds and embrace the open sea. I urge the viewer to explore, dream, discover, and take risks, because, as David Sedaris suggests, to sail is to live. We have not fully experienced life until we have dared to venture out.
